DAYS 5 & 6 :: STROLL IN THE PARK FOR KIDS WHO BARK (in support of pet rescue)

Island Delight

It's rare that I need to combine days of SITPFKWB reports because I miss one, but that's what I'm doing today.

We're spending some time on the beautiful island province of Prince Edward Island. This magical place grabbed our hearts a couple of years ago when we came for our first time and we've been longing to get back here ever since. Having the beautiful and idyllic surroundings to hold my attention during my stroll is nothing but spellbinding.

So this morning, Bill joined me as I struck out for my first "island walk". We covered 8 kilometers of hilly country side and I can tell you, after a 20 hour drive, arriving just yesterday afternoon, we were dragging our butts a bit by the end. Fortunately we got home in time to miss the rain that soaked the island for the rest of the day. I'll just leave you with a few images from our trek this morning.
