A Look Back

2014

Scenes to Stroll By...

The majority of my strolling takes place in my beloved Springbank Park in London, ON Canada.  There is no better or more serene feeling than walking through this vast park with its multitude of everchanging wildlife and foliage.  September brings with it the changing of seasons and even more beauty.  Here is a gallery of some of the images I captured on last year's walk.

A Rainy Finish

A Rainy Finish

I needed 8 kilometers to beat my 2013 total and with just over 2.5 km to go the sky burst open making for a soggy but victorious finish!

Acknowldgements & Accolades

2014 contributors and supporters.....

It's important for everyone to know how much support goes into this event.  I couldn't do this without the generous contributions from so many wonderful folks!  I want to thank each and every one of you personally and from the bottom of my heart.

Tail-Wagging Happily-Ever-Afters 2014

Little Sprite (above) was rescued from a puppy mill situation and needed much love and care to overcome many obstacles. Painfully timid and skittish, Sprite couldn't have had a better, more patient foster mom than Lorraine.

After a couple of mis-cue's, Sprite is now beloved by her fur-ever family!

It's now been a whole year since our beautiful little cock-a-poo girl Joee (a former back yard breeder puppy mill mama) came to live with us.  In the above photo, she had been with us only a few weeks and enjoying her first ever trip to our winter home in Arizona.  Miss Joee has become a fabulous little traveller, along with her brother Thomas Magnum (middle) and sister Teegan Marie and now has a total of 4 trips and nearly 14,000 kilometers under her paws.

Rosa, a former puppy mill mama, joined in the fun at the 1st ever, Stroll-Along-Sunday and was hoping to find her fur-ever family.

Last year I walked to raise donations in support of Bill Foundation.
