Rainy, windy, yukky!!! That "rain pain" I mentioned yesterday did not lie. 😉 But, hey, we struck out this morning anyway and got in a quick 4 kilometers between downpours. According to the forecast though, it looks like tomorrow will be a repeat. And yes, the "rain pain" says that too.
📣 ** ANNOUNCEMENT!! ** 📣 ** ANNOUNCEMENT!! ** 📣
I am THRILLED to announce that one of the groups I will be supporting this year is Happy's Place - A Retirement Home for Dogs based in Strathroy, Ontario.

To learn more about this wonderful organization, click on these links for their Facebook page and Website. They are a 100% non-profit charity group that rescues and fosters senior dogs. Regretfully, they are not a "registered" charity and are unable to provide tax receipts. However, for those of you who require a tax receipt for your donation, I am currently in the process of selecting a group with a charitable tax number.
Donations continue to trickle in but with just 23 days to go, I have my work cut out for me! Of course, the focus of my campaign remains this: I will be personally donating .50 cents per kilometer for every kilometer I walk in the month of September (in support of pet rescue) and I invite you to show your support by sponsoring me either by pledging cents/kilometer or in a lump sum. The smallest amount is still better than none. And, for added convenience in this global world, I have created a GoFundMe account. But, for my local supporters who have already donated, as once again tomorrow, I STROLL IN THE PARK FOR KIDS WHO BARK!!!
