DAY 5 :: STROLL IN THE PARK FOR KIDS WHO BARK (in support of pet rescue)

I am exhausted today! Regretfully, however, not from having walked too many kilometers for SITPFKWB.
No, it was a sleepless night last night with the little patient. And, while I did record over 4 kilometers today, not one single step was "official". I had hoped that after getting groceries and housework done, I'd head out but, alas, the tank was empty.

So, here's where the new rule kicks in š. As I mentioned on Day 1, this year, on days where I am unable to walk, I will go back into my books (from 2013 to 2019) and log the highest number of kilometers I walked that particular day. For September 5th, it was 2014 and I logged 15 kilometers! You can view my report for that day on my website blog.
I am thrilled to say that the donations have started rolling in! And, of course, as you all know by now, the focus of my campaign remains this; I will be personally donating .50 cents per kilometer for every kilometer I walk in the month of September (in support of pet rescue) and I invite you to show your support by sponsoring me either by cents/kilometer or in a lump sum. The smallest amount is still better than none. And, for added convenience in this global world, I have created a GoFundMe account. But for my local supporters I am also happy to accept cash, cheques, and e-transfers.
I am truly grateful to all of you, my wonderful supporters who have already donated, as once again tomorrow, I STROLL IN THE PARK FOR KIDS WHO BARK (in support of pet rescue)!!! #MyRescueKids #LuvMyRescueKids #SITPFKWB #NNTB
P.S. Just FYI...the patient is doing just fine.
