DAY 4 :: STROLL IN THE PARK FOR KIDS WHO BARK (in support of pet rescue)

Day of Departure

Yes, I was certainly a little fatigued when I opened my eyes this morning, Day 4 of SITPFKWB 2021. Truth be told, I don't think I've walked back-to-back-to-back double digits for a long, long time! So, I decided to hit the snooze button a couple of times. Of course, having my sweet Joee and Jeffrey pressed snugly into my back, makes it hard to want disturb the tranquility of it.

But, I finally got moving and headed out the door on another perfect-for-walking morning; my "velcro boy" Jeffrey with me and raring to go. We made a quick stop at the park for a little swing time but the monkey was happier with his paws on the ground. LOL

Because of getting a late start, and the fact that it's travelling day today, I logged a minuscule 5 kilometers. But, that's okay, since I'm still ahead of any of my previous totals since 2013 at this point.

As ever, I will be personally donating .50 cents per kilometer for every kilometer I walk in the month of September (in support of pet rescue) and I invite folks to show their support by sponsoring me either by cents-per-kilometer or in a lump sum. For added convenience for my non-Canadian supporters, my GoFundMe at www.GoFundMe.com/f/SITPFKWB2021 but for my local supporters, I am also happy to accept cash, cheques, and e-transfers at StrollingForFurKids@gmail.com

I hope you'll watch for my reports for the next couple of weeks as you'll be in for some (God willing) exciting and special settings as I STROLL IN THE PARK FOR KIDS WHO BARK (in support of pet rescue)!!!
