I'm amazing myself. LOL....but that doesn't take much 😉 these days.

Looking back through my walking logs, I have to go way back to the first week of March to see where I walked a distance of any significance. That week, I logged 42.5 kilometers walking (plus 15 on my bike). [But, to be gentle on myself, a lot of "stuff" has happened between then and now and walking just wasn't at the top of my list.] But today, I am really happy to notice that my stamina is improving and my hip hasn't given me as much grief as I might have expected. 😁 So, all in all, I am feeling excited about the next 27 days!

I chose a different route today and came across some mind-blowing giant lily pads!! (The photos don't do them justice.) But, the morning air was fresh and made it pleasant as I logged 7.5 kilometers.

As you al know by now, the focus of my Stroll In The Park For Kids Who Bark campaign remains this; I will be personally donating .50 cents per kilometer for every kilometer I walk in the month of September (in support of pet rescue) and I invite you to show your support by sponsoring me either by cents/kilometer or in a lump sum. The smallest amount is still better than none. And, for added convenience in this global world, I have created a GoFundMe account. But, for my local supporters, I am also happy to accept cash, cheques, and e-transfers.

I am truly grateful to all of you, my wonderful supporters who have already donated, as once again tomorrow, I STROLL INT HE PARK FOR KIDS WHO BARK!!!
