We're On Our Way!

Another glorious day today for SITPFKWB! A perfect 12°C, northeasterly breeze, and loads of sunshine made for the most perfect of walking conditions. Two of my boys accompanied me part way but made it clear that they weren't "going all THAT way" today. LOL So, while I left Bill and Jeffrey to finish their 4 kilometers, I went on to complete 11 altogether. The fall colours and vegetation are on display already and the giant lily pads are in full bloom!

I am so pleased to report that donations have already been received and from the bottom of my heart, I am so very grateful to those of you who have already pledged!

As ever, I will be personally donating .50 cents per kilometer for every kilometer I walk in the month of September (in support of pet rescue) and I invite folks to show their support by sponsoring me either by cents-per-kilometer or in a lump sum.
