Surprisingly, I felt pretty energetic first thing this morning and left the house ready to log lots of kilometers. But, the weather radar lied! Shortly after heading out, the rain came.

The flock of seagulls I passed didn't seem to mind but, I decided to cut today's walk short when it became a little more than just a passing shower. Unfortunately, only a measly 4 km. went into the books today.

We all know that, in our region alone, there are hundreds of dogs currently waiting in rescue. Waiting costs money. Daily care and sometimes the need for medical treatment can be a financial drain for rescue groups that work tirelessly to save abandoned, abused, and homeless dogs.
Cue SITPFKWB!!! 📣
As always, the focus of my campaign remains this; I will be personally donating .50 cents per kilometer for every kilometer I walk in the month of September (in support of pet rescue) and I invite you to show your support by sponsoring me either by cents/kilometer or in a lump sum. The smallest amount is still better than none. And, for added convenience in this global world, I have created a GoFundMe account (which will be live tomorrow) but for my local supporters I am also happy to accept cash, cheques, and e-transfers.
I am truly grateful to all of you, my wonderful supporters who have already donated, as once again tomorrow, I STROLL IN THE PARK FOR KIDS WHO BARK (in support of pet rescue)!!! #myrescuekids #luvmyrescuekids #SITPFKWB #NNTB
