Peace, Love, Rescue...

The world is filled on a daily basis with sad stories describing tales of abuse, neglect, and abandonment of innocent dogs. I freely admit that at the end of some of these days, I am so sad, my heart aching with the hopelessness I feel after reading so many of these accounts, that I find it hard to close my eyes to sleep.

But then, there are days that are bursting full of happy and heart-warming reports of the perseverance of an "earth angel" and the fighting spirit of a soul rescued from appalling and/or life-threatening circumstances bring tears to my eyes and joy to my heart.

But all these stories drive and inspire me to one goal and with just 2 days remaining in the 2018 Stroll In The Park For Kids Who Bark campaign, I sincerely hope that more donations will come in. To those of my supporters who have already donated, THANK YOU, EVER SO MUCH, FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART.

As ever, the focus of the campaign remains this; I am personally donating -to each rescue- .50 cents per kilometer for every kilometer I walk in the month of September (in support of Paws United Dog Rescue (not for profit rescue) and Pee Wees Pals Animal Rescue) and I invite folks to show their support by sponsoring me either by cents/kilometer or in a lump sum. For added convenience, I have created a GoFundMe account [ https://www.gofundme.com/stroll-in-the-park-for-kids-who-bar ] but for my local supporters I am also happy to accept cheques, bank e-transfer, and cash.

I hope you're able to help a deserving soul in rescue with just a small donation while I STROLL IN THE PARK FOR KIDS WHO BARK!!!

**Please note that it is not possible to provide tax receipts for donations made through the GFM website.
