There are so very many worthwhile and important causes in need of support every day, but even the smallest of donations could make a life or death difference to a homeless, abused, or abandoned fur-kid in need of rescue.

As I struck out on Day 20 of SITPFKWB this morning, I was thinking how lucky I am to have found my two precious fur-kids, Miss Joee and Jacob-Milo.

But, the reason I found them was because of the important role pet rescue plays in society. And, even more important, is the money raised through donation to run those rescue programs.

Today I was able to post 11.25 kilometers in the books. Along the way, I met up with Murphy and Sully; 4 month old "doodle" littermates out for their morning stroll.

As the days wind down in the 2018 Stroll In The Park For Kids Who Bark campaign, donations have been very slow to trickle in. I know I have to work even harder over the next 10 days!!! To those of my supporters who have already donated, THANK YOU, EVER SO MUCH, FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART.

As ever, the focus of the campaign remains this; I am personally donating -to each rescue- .50 cents per kilometer for every kilometer I walk in the month of September (in support of Paws United Dog Rescue (not for profit rescue) and Pee Wees Pals Animal Rescue) and I invite folks to show their support by sponsoring me either by cents/kilometer or in a lump sum. For added convenience, I have created a GoFundMe account [ https://www.gofundme.com/stroll-in-the-park-for-kids-who-bar ] but for my local supporters I am also happy to accept cheques, bank e-transfer, and cash.

I hope you're able to help a deserving soul in rescue with just a small donation while I STROLL IN THE PARK FOR KIDS WHO BARK!!!

**Please note that it is not possible to provide tax receipts for donations made through the GFM website.
