Today was a special day that, unfortunately, did not include strolling. Unless we count the steps I took on the golf course.

Red Tail Golf & Country Club, "Boat House" hole.

My husband Bill and I had the special chance to play a round of golf at an exclusive course situated near Port Stanley where the likes of Michael Douglas, Sean Connery, and Wayne Gretzky have all played. The day was perfect and the course sublime!!!

But, since I wasn't able to log any SITPFKWB kilometers today, I will need to walk twice as far tomorrow.

The days are now beginning to wind down in the 2018 Stroll In The Park For Kids Who Bark campaign, so I certainly have lots of work ahead. But, donations are slowly trickling in. So, to those of my supporters who have already donated, THANK YOU, EVER SO MUCH, FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART.

As ever, the focus of the campaign remains this; I am personally donating -to each rescue- .50 cents per kilometer for every kilometer I walk in the month of September (in support of Paws United Dog Rescue (not for profit rescue) and Pee Wees Pals Animal Rescue) and I invite folks to show their support by sponsoring me either by cents/kilometer or in a lump sum. For added convenience, I have created a GoFundMe account [ https://www.gofundme.com/stroll-in-the-park-for-kids-who-bar ] but for my local supporters I am also happy to accept cheques, bank e-transfer, and cash.

I'm hoping you'll be able to support me while I STROLL IN THE PARK FOR KIDS WHO BARK!!!

**Please note that it is not possible to provide tax receipts for donations made through the GFM website.
