A change of scenery today for my Stroll In The Park For Kids Who Bark trek. Yes, I visited my old stomping ground of Springbank Park where, over the past many years, I have logged thousands of kilometers. It was nice to see the familiar faces of fellow walkers and catch up on all the news, like old times, with my walking buddy Shari.

The weather proved more tolerable as well and I was able to add another 12.25 kilometers to my total. With the weekend looming, I’m hoping that I can blow my previous weekly record (64.5 kilometers in 2015) which, barring any catastrophe, should be “a walk in the park” ... LOL

To those of my supporters who have already donated, thank you so much from the bottom of my heart. As ever, the focus of the campaign remains this; I am personally donating .50 cents per kilometer for every kilometer I walk in the month of September and I invite folks to show their support by sponsoring me either by cents/kilometer or in a lump sum. For added convenience, I have created a GoFundMe account [ https://www.gofundme.com/stroll-in-the-park-for-kids-who-bar ] but for my local supporters I am also happy to accept cheques, bank e-transfer, and cash.

Tomorrow, I’ll be back on the trail logging some record breaking kilometers while I STROLL IN THE PARK FOR KIDS WHO BARK!!!

**Please note that it is not possible to provide tax receipts for any donations made through the GFM website.
