Week 4 of Stroll In The Park For Kids Who Bark (in support of Animalert) closed on a positive note as I logged 13 kilometers bringing the week’s total to 61.25 kilometers.

As well, Stroll-Along-Sunday took place on the 27th and we enjoyed a fun-filled afternoon at Springbank Park. Folks came out with their fur-kids to show their support and the event was a success; surpassing the donations raised on S-A-S last year!

As I have mentioned, during my month-long fundraising challenge, I will be personally donating .50 cents per kilometer for every kilometer I walk in the month of September and I invite folks to show their support by sponsoring me either by cents/kilometer or in a lump sum. For added convenience, I have created a GoFundMe account (for my American and International family and friends), but for my local supporters I am happy to accept cheques (made payable to Animalert), bank e-transfer, and cash. Even just 5¢ per kilometer will add to a donation that will mean a second chance for abused, abandoned, and surrendered fur-kids! There is just one day left and so tomorrow I will be logging kilometers in both Springbank Park and Pinafore Park in an attempt to surpass my last year’s total as I STROLL IN THE PARK FOR KIDS WHO BARK!!!
