Wow, how lucky am I? Two favourite Stroll In The Park For Kids Who Bark walks in a row as today was pretty much a repeat of yesterday; except the umbrella had to come out for the last 5 or 6 kilometers. So, despite another day “fit for water fowl” I logged 14 kilometers. I have been incredibly lucky this year with such beautiful weather for the most part and hope that for tomorrow, my last day of Stroll In The Park For Kids Who Bark (in support of Animalert), I will enjoy one more beautiful Fall day as I trek on to a new record.

As I have mentioned, during my month-long fundraising challenge, I will be personally donating .50 cents per kilometer for every kilometer I walk in the month of September and I invite folks to show their support by sponsoring me either by cents/kilometer or in a lump sum. For added convenience, I have created a GoFundMe account (for my American and International family and friends), but for my local supporters I am happy to accept cheques (made payable to Animalert), bank e-transfer, and cash.
I anticipate beating my last year’s total kilometers logged tomorrow but there’s still time to support me –even for just a couple of bucks- as I STROLL IN THE PARK FOR KIDS WHO BARK!!!
