Call me crazy but my favourite Stroll In The Park For Kids Who Bark (in support of Animalert) walks are during an overcast and even misty kind of day; just like today. There is some kind of peaceful feeling that seems to come with being the only one on the trail. So, in the tranquility of a day “fit for water fowl” I logged 13 kilometers.
As I have mentioned, during my month-long fundraising challenge, I will be personally donating .50 cents per kilometer for every kilometer I walk in the month of September and I invite folks to show their support by sponsoring me either by cents/kilometer or in a lump sum. For added convenience, I have created a GoFundMe account (for my American and International family and friends), but for my local supporters I am happy to accept cheques (made payable to Animalert), bank e-transfer, and cash.
I have now surpassed my last year’s total in donations collected, but there’s still time to support me –even for just a couple of bucks- as I STROLL IN THE PARK FOR KIDS WHO BARK!!!
