Well, another Stroll-Along-Sunday is now in the books. For all intents and purposes it was a successful day and donations collected today have guaranteed that I will surpass last year’s total! Yay! To all those who came out to support the event, I can’t begin to describe my gratitude! Your big hearts and generosity make each and every one of you very special!

But, Stroll In The Park For Kids Who Bark still has a few days left and that means more kilometers to be logged. So, once I got home and unloaded from S-A-S, my princess Joee (part of the reason for all this) and I struck out for a turn around Pinafore Park and we logged 3.25 kilometers.

As I have mentioned, during my month-long fundraising challenge, I will be personally donating .50 cents per kilometer for every kilometer I walk in the month of September and I invite folks to show their support by sponsoring me either by cents/kilometer or in a lump sum. For added convenience, I have created a GoFundMe account (for my American and International family and friends), but for my local supporters I am happy to accept cheques (made payable to Animalert), bank e-transfer, and cash.

I have now surpassed my last year’s total in donations collected, but there’s still time to support me –even for just a couple of bucks- as I STROLL IN THE PARK FOR KIDS WHO BARK!!!
