Wow, it’s been an incredibly busy Stroll In The Park For Kids Who Bark (in support of Animalert) day again today. I crammed in 10 kilometers first thing this morning with the hope that I’d get out again later this afternoon. But it wasn’t to be.

Tomorrow I will be making a presentation on pet rescue to the Ladies Coffee Hour Group at North Park Church and I still had lots of work to do to perfect my talk. I was busy too, creating a new brochure to hand out both tomorrow morning and as well, tomorrow evening at Animalert’s special fundraising event, “Paws-itively Musical Night”.

During my month-long fundraising challenge, I will be personally donating .50 cents per kilometer for every kilometer I walk in the month of September, I invite folks to show their support by sponsoring me either by cents/kilometer or in a lump sum. For added convenience, I have created a GoFundMe account (for my American and International family and friends), but for my local supporters I am happy to accept cheques (made payable to Animalert), bank e-transfer, and cash.

In conjunction with SITPFKWB I will be hosting Stroll-Along–Sunday taking place on September 27th from 1 to 3:00 at Springbank Park Picnic Area L. We hope you and your fur-kids will come out and join us for an afternoon of fun, refreshments, and oh ya, a Stroll In The Park For Kids Who Bark! To register, e-mail me or you can find all the details on my website.

I’m looking forward a big day tomorrow raising awareness for pet rescue as I STROLL IN THE PARK FOR KIDS WHO BARK!!!
