A ribbon of fog cut through Pinafore this morning as I struck out for Day 17 of Stroll In The Park For Kids Who Bark. The sun is taking longer to make its appearance each morning but eventually the day unfolded once again in to beautiful, sunny warmth.

The pathways were mostly quiet this morning but I did meet a cute pair of Schnauzers named Biffy and Zimper as I was nearing the end of my 11.75 kilometer trek.

During my month-long fundraising challenge, I will be personally donating .50 cents per kilometer for every kilometer I walk in the month of September, I invite folks to show their support by sponsoring me either by cents/kilometer or in a lump sum. For added convenience, I have created a GoFundMe account (for my American and International family and friends), but for my local supporters I am happy to accept cheques (made payable to Animalert), bank e-transfer, and cash.
In conjunction with SITPFKWB I will be hosting Stroll-Along –Sunday taking place on September 27th from 1 to 3:00 at Springbank Park Picnic Area L. We hope you and your fur-kids will come out and join us for an afternoon of fun, refreshments, and oh ya, a Stroll In The Park For Kids Who Bark! To register, e-mail me or you can find all the details on my website.
I’m looking forward to another productive day tomorrow as I STROLL IN THE PARK FOR KIDS WHO BARK!!!
