Stroll In The Park For Kids Who Bark (in support of Animalert) was short and sweet!!! Today was my golf day (tournament and banquet) so I was unable to walk this morning as usual. The good news is, my group tied with another for best score! So, after a long day on the course and running a few errands on the way home, I cooked dinner and then struck out for a quick walk. I added a total of 4.25 kilometers to my total.

During my month-long fundraising challenge, I will be personally donating .50 cents per kilometer for every kilometer I walk in the month of September, I invite folks to show their support by sponsoring me either by cents/kilometer or in a lump sum. For added convenience, I have created a GoFundMe account (for my American and International family and friends), but for my local supporters I am happy to accept cheques (made payable to Animalert), bank e-transfer, and cash.

In conjunction with SITPFKWB I will be hosting Stroll-Along –Sunday taking place on September 27th from 1 to 3:00 at Springbank Park Picnic Area L. We hope you and your fur-kids will come out and join us for an afternoon of fun, refreshments, and oh ya, a Stroll In The Park For Kids Who Bark! To register, e-mail me, or you can find all the details on my website.

To reach my goals I’ll need to ramp up my totals for the remainder of the month while I STROLL IN THE PARK FOR KIDS WHO BARK!!!
