I decided to wander a little off the path –and out of the park– and explore some of the interesting old architecture of our new “home town” and since the Trans Canada Trail, on which I’ve been walking, ends smack-dab in the downtown, it was a great opportunity to capture some of the interesting details on some of these heritage buildings such as the beautiful clock tower of this municipal building.

I only logged 8 kilometers today since I had a full day scheduled with lots of other important SITPFKWB tasks to do but, as I was down to the last few kilometers, a couple of my fans came out to cheer me on.

Tomorrow will be an exciting day in the history of SITPFKWB so be sure to check back for the round up of Day 5 for all the details.

In addition to personally donating .50 cents per kilometer for every kilometer I walk in the month of September, I invite folks to show their support by sponsoring me either by cents/kilometer or in a lump sum. For added convenience, I have created a GoFundMe ** account (for my American and International family and friends), but for my local supporters I am happy to accept cheques (made payable to Animalert), bank transfer via e-mail, and cash.

I’ll be heading back to my beloved Springbank Park tomorrow morning as once again I will STROLL IN THE PARK FOR KIDS WHO BARK!!!

**Please note that it is not possible to provide tax receipts for any donations made through the GFM website.
