It may be a blustery and bitter cold day today, but I have been dreaming about the next Stroll In The Park For Kids Who Bark. In just over six months from now, I'll be lacing up my walking shoes and embarking on the Third Annual Stroll In the Park For Kids Who Bark.

Even during the winter months, I get out to the park as often as weather permits and some days are better than others. Yesterday I was able to log 18 kilometers even though the thermometer showed a high of -5°C (23°F). It's always a feeling of great accomplishment when I can complete a trek like that.

Picnic Area L may be a bit snowed under at the moment, but come September 27th, it will be filled with barks and wags and lots of fun for Stroll Along Sunday. Needless to say, I'm really excited about this year's walk and have begun planning already; I have tons of fun and exciting ideas.

After such a successful campaign last year; walking more than 250 kilometers in the month of September and raising more than $1,300 for Animalert (a local pet rescue) I am determined to reach an ever higher goal this year.

So, in the meantime, I'll be working hard to put together the best ever Stroll In The Park For Kids Who Bark and Stroll Along Sunday and I hope you'll stay tuned for some exciting announcements as I plan to STROLL IN THE PARK FOR KIDS WHO BARK!!!
