DAY 24 :: STROLL IN THE PARK FOR KIDS WHO BARK (in support of Animalert)

Another magnificent day, WOW!! It was a "practicing-for-retirement" day off today so I was able to log 13 kilometers! (That has pushed me over the 200 k mark!) With the beautiful sunshine and clear blue sky, I was grinning ear to ear all the way.
I was amazed at how many people were there too; mid-day and mid-week was quite surprising.
As always, I observed lots of new things; a family of deer in Woodland Cemetery - mama, papa, and baby, a little groundhog who wasn't a bit scared of me - could have petted him if I'd had the nerve, and of course lots of beautiful wild scenery.

It's just 4 days until Stroll-Along-Sunday. Even if you don't have time to raise any donations, please consider this your invitation to come out and enjoy some fresh air, fur-kid friends, and fun on Sunday, September 28th at Springbank Park, Picnic Area L from 2 - 4:00.
As I'm getting down to the wire now, just 6 days left, I'll turn it up a notch as I STROLL IN THE PARK FOR KIDS WHO BARK!!!
