I'm happy to report that Gidget is recovering nicely after her first of 2 hip surgeries. She has gone home to her foster now and is being pampered and cared for during her rehab.

There is still another surgery in the not-too-distant future but for the time being, Gidget is slowly able to put some weight on the right leg that she's rarely, if ever, used.

Gidget was surrendered to Animalert some weeks ago and shortly after, it was discovered that she was suffering from severe hip dysplasia. After being examined by a veterinarian, it was determined that surgery was the only course of treatment that would releive her from the pain she had been living in for the better part of her life.

Donations raised though my month-long fundraising challenge, STROLL IN THE PARK FOR KIDS WHO BARK, will go to help with the expense of the surgeries and medications that will see Gidget become a happy, healthy little girl and to hopefully become a permenat member of a new, loving family!

To make a donation, you can download a pledge form here on the page "The Way", text/call me at 519-694-3420, or email me at StrollingForFurKids@gmail.com.
