DAY 1 :: STROLL IN THE PARK FOR KIDS WHO BARK (in support of Animalert)

New shoes for a new campaign.

Yes, I broke out my new shoes today to begin my month-long fundraising event, Stroll In The Park For Kids Who Bark. My husband Bill accompanied me today as we logged 15 kilometers together.

Our walk was paused for a few minutes by a sudden downpour however, we carried on and finished our stroll in the blazing sunshine.

I will be donating .50 cents for every kilometer I walk this month and I hope you'll consider supporting me by pledging either cents/kilometer or a lump sum as I STROLL IN THE PARK FOR KIDS WHO BARK.
